Product Review : Go 360 Clean . . .

I am not one to do product reviews about anything really. But recently I was in a Winners store and was looking for a new facial cleanser. Always having used multiple different products from Clean and Clear, I wanted something different. And to be honest, I had never really seen much difference in my skin using these products before. So basically, I wanted something new. That is when I stumbled upon a display of L'oreal Paris facial Cleansers; and I literally mean stumble upon, I almost ate it!! Anyways I was looking at a bunch of different ones and found this go 360 clean cleanser. I really like the idea of the little gel facial scrubber it comes with, and it's pretty cute. Anyways, I bought it for six dollars and I am telling you it is the greatest product I have ever used on my skin. I will feel a pimple coming on one day and then use this product and I swear to God that the next day there is not a single trace of it anymore. I don't know if it is the actual cleanser or the neat little scrubber, but what ever it is... IT WORKS! I really like the smell of it too, it is like a really clean and fresh tea tree oil smell. The only neg I have discovered it does tend to dry out skin, but this can be attributed to using to often or not following up with a moisturizer. I have been a victim to both. Anyways, enough about this freaking cleanser. But if you are looking for something new I would really recommend this!!

DIY PORE STRIPS . . . For The Poor College Girl . .

So, being a college student I have quickly come to the realization that I cannot afford certain luxuries that I could afford before. As sad as this had made me L WAH! I have recently discovered many different DIY projects, (Do It Yourself). Although I haven’t got around to trying them all, I have tried a few and have had some pretty positive results. I would almost say that I enjoy doing these DIY projects over spending my money on over priced products that in the end, don’t work and that contain chemicals and additives that aren’t good for your skin/hair. At least this way I know firsthand what is being used in these mixtures, and it’s FUN! I have always had troubles with blackheads on my nose and so I found this great recipe for DIY pore strips. I have found them to work relatively well; better then the Biore strips I have paid for in the past that don’t work for me. J
HOW TO : DIY PORE STRIPS
So what you will need for this DIY is:
A Plastic Container.
A Popcicle Stick. (To Apply)
Measuring Spoons.
Milk.
Unflavored Gelatin.
DIY PORE STRIP DIRECTIONS:
1. Measure 1 tbsp. of the unflavored gelatin into your disposable container.
2. Add 1-2 tbsp. of milk into the gelatin.
3. Mix it all together until you get a sort of chunky consistency. If you are not loving the chunks you can add more milk.
4. Now you will have to microwave your mixture for about 10-15 seconds. In the microwave the mixture will get more creamier. After you take it out, stir it quickly and then immediately apply it to your face. This shit hardens fast, so you really need to work quick!!
AND REMEMBER:
Wash your face before you apply the strips.
Apply the mixture to where ever you find necessary!
Let it dry for about 15 minutes, though you can leave on longer.
You will KNOW when it is time to peel off. You won't be able to move your face very well.
And finally, PEEL AWAY!

I hope you enjoyed. There will be more DIY coming soon! I love them so much. I may even do a tutorial. <3

The Man With The Hello Kitty Earrings/The Story Behind The Kitty...

Every week at my school venders set up for the week to sell their products to students. Usually they really aren’t that interesting, selling things like posters, fudge, and student phone plans. And then today, I saw it out of the corner of my eye; a little man with a jewellery stand, three tables of sparkles and shine. I had to distract myself immediately; I knew that if I was to go over there, that literally, there was no stopping me.  I would be lucky to escape with one item from this jewellery stand, so I thought I would just ignore it all together and I was successful , but only on my way to class. The way back from class, was another story. I didn’t want to stop, I really didn’t; but the little man he looked me in the eyes. We made eye contact and he saw into my soul. Deep into my soul and I’m assuming telepathically he called me over. The little man whispered in my ear to go see him and look at all the beautiful wholesale jewellery. So slowly I walked over to look at the wide collection of jewellery and there was so much to look at. But I took my time and really evaluated if I really need anything I am looking at. About 15 minutes later of holding myself back, the man looked at me again and then to the corner of the table. Confused I followed his gaze, and saw a single pair of Hello Kitty earrings. Never have I ever been into Hello Kitty, but I slowly walked over and took a look at them. I was impressed to see how much they grew on me, that little man knew exactly what I wanted.  So seven dollars later I am now the owner of a set of Hello Kitty earrings.

Goodbye Michael Scott. Hello, Robert Califronia.

So as all of you may have or should have heard, Steve Carell has signed off as Michael Scott on The Office; leaving the lingering question of who was going to replace him this season. Nearing the finale last season many celebrity candidates took a swing at potentially being the new district manager of Dunder Mifflin. Candidates ranging from Will Arenett, to Will Farrell, to Jim Carrey, Ray Romano and James Spader. I was especially thrilled to see Will Ferrell on The Office, but knew deep down he was not going to be the new Michael Scott. I was curiously surprised to find that I fell in love with James Spaders character Robert California; with his whimsical personality and sexy disposition. I always thought he looked familiar, remembering him from the show Boston Legal, but I could never put my finger on it. And that, is when a friend pointed out to me that he was Steff from Pretty In Pink!

Sexy In 1986.

I instantly fell in love with the prospect of him being the new boss of Dunder Mifflin. Not only do I have a deep, deep, abiding love for any 80's movie; but also I always loved the character Steff! This could not be more prefect, one of my favorite characters from my wide collection of 80's movies coming to one of my favorite TV shows, it was a dream come true!!! Excitedly I tuned in to see Robert California in all his glory and was disappointed to see that he was not going to be the new boss of Dunder Mifflin :( . But, will replace Kathy Bates as CEO of the company. He was so funny the first episode with his mysterious list and hatred for ball point pens that I truly hope he sticks around. I guess we will have to wait and see!!

Still Sexy In 2011

And I would love to point out that he still has that full head of beautifully feathered hair.. Damn you Spader, damn you!

If There Is A WILL, There Is A Way . . .

"It is by will alone that I set my mind in motion." - Mentat Prayer
For the entirety of my life thus far; I have based my actions off those of others. Constantly obsessing over what other people do as a guideline for my own life. Well, today this stops. Today, I will start leading a life of my own, based solely upon what I want. I am getting to that age in life when no one else but yourself can make you successful at whatever you chose to do. Growing up your parents mold you into the person you are today but it is up to you to choose what you do with the valuable knowledge they have provided you with. And I have activiely decided to longer watch life pass me by but to live my OWN life.

I WILL, live my own life.

I will, always be the best possible version of myself. I will, be confident and proud of who I am. I will, strive for greatness and settle for nothing less. I will, be the perfect daughter, sister and friend. I will, always remember the good times. I will, help those in need. I will, always smile at strangers. I will, always give someone the benefit of the doubt. I will, prove myself and other wrong. I will, always no matter what, just be me.
